Ava Tech site Terms and Conditions for avatech.com.au. This is a clear interim policy in plain English for our Australian online store. It is not a lawyer-drafted legal document. Last updated: 7 October 2026.

2. Using this website

You may browse and use the site for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, or use automated tools in a way that harms the site or other users. We may update content, products, and prices at any time. Product images and descriptions are for guidance; minor differences can occur.

3. Products and orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline an order (for example if stock is unavailable, pricing is clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud). A contract forms when we confirm your order or take payment, whichever we indicate. If we cannot fulfil an order after payment, we will refund the amount paid for the unavailable item.

4. Pricing

Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice for future orders. If GST applies, it will be shown as required. We try to keep prices accurate. If a clear pricing error occurs, we may cancel the order and refund you.

5. Payment

Payment is due at checkout using the methods we offer (for example card payments via Stripe). You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method. Orders may be held or cancelled if payment fails or looks fraudulent.

6. Shipping and delivery

We ship within Australia as described on our shipping information pages and at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in goods usually passes when they are delivered to the address you provide, subject to Australian Consumer Law. For shipping details, see our shipping page on avatech.com.au.

7. Returns and refunds

Change-of-mind returns, refunds, and related processes are set out on our Refund and Returns page. Delivery and returns are separate from warranty cover for faults. Nothing in our returns policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Warranty

Warranty cover for products sold by Ava Tech is separate from delivery timing and change-of-mind returns.

Manufacturer warranty: Eligible products usually include the standard warranty offered by the respective manufacturer or brand. Length and terms vary by brand and product. Keep your proof of purchase. We can help you start a manufacturer warranty claim where appropriate.

Australian consumer guarantees: Under the Australian Consumer Law, you also have statutory guarantees for goods that are not of acceptable quality, not fit for a stated purpose, or do not match their description. These rights apply for a reasonable period depending on the nature of the goods. They are not limited to any short fixed store window, and we do not advertise a "30 days warranty" as your only cover.

If a product is faulty, contact us with your order details and a description of the issue. Next steps may include repair, replacement, or refund where the law requires, or referral to the manufacturer warranty process. Warranty does not usually cover damage from misuse, accidents, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear, except where Australian Consumer Law still applies.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where we are allowed to limit liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee (for goods or services not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use), our liability may be limited to resupply or paying the cost of resupply.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from use of the site or products, except where such liability cannot be limited. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product, except where Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.

10. Intellectual property

Site content, branding, logos, and materials on avatech.com.au are owned by Ava Tech / BRACE Tech or our licensors. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission, except for ordinary personal use of the site or as allowed by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts in Australia may hear disputes, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live in Australia.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Changes apply to future use of the site and new orders after the update.
